Monday Stories: Comrade Safe, Hanuman Ansh Telugu Disappoints

Nani’s The Paradise has collected very minimal in its third week. The movie will finish at around 170 Crore Gross while the Breakeven is around 220 Crore Gross.

Nizam is the best-performing area. It has collected around 32 Crore Share. This is the only area where buyer will recover his paid amount and Expenses if Producer gives the GST.

Buyers in Guntur and Ceeded will incur relatively less losses mainly because the Share Guarantees here helped a lot. In other areas of Andhra, the losses will be huge. In North America, Producer released the movie on Returnable Advance basis. The movie under-performed here and so, huge money had to be returned to the buyer.

Sundeep Kishan and Thalapathy Vijay’s son, Sigma closed less than 10 Crore Gross. A big disaster.

Vijay Sethupathi’s Battha collected around 28 Crore Gross in India at the end of its second weekend. That is a severe underperformance when compared to its Talk and Reviews.

Karthik Subbaraj’s Dorothy collected around 17 Crore Gross in India at the end of its third weekend. Again, a box office disappointment.

Court fame Roshan’s Thellakagitham has collected around 8.5 Crore Gross by the end of the second weekend. It should collect around 13 Crore Gross for breakeven. So, again a box office disappointment.

A Kannada film, Premadha Ooralli has collected around 56 Crore Gross in India at the end of third weekend, a Surprise Blockbuster.

Drishyam 3 breached the 300 Crore Nett mark in India. Ajay Devgn’s First and it is heading towards his first 500 Crore Grosser WW. The movie has collected around 100 Crore Gross Worldwide in its second weekend which means it is super strong.

Comrade Kalyan has collected close to 12 Crore Gross Worldwide in first weekend. It has collected around 9 Crore in AP and TS. SVC paid 5 Crore Refundable Advance for the film. That means it should collected around 12 Crore Gross for Breakeven in the Telugu States which should not be difficult. The Breakeven for the Producer will depend on the Overflows. With Ranabaali and Jailer 2 coming, we will have to see.

Hanuman Ansh disappointed in Telugu. Hombale took refundable advances to the tune of 14 Crore. That means it should collect around 30 Crore Gross for breakeven but the movie collected only around 5 Crore Gross in the opening weekend in India. The movie has collected around 450 Crore Gross WW and now, 500 Crore looks difficult.
