Bollywood Actor Turns Producer For Telugu Director

The trend of actors turning into producers has become more prevalent in the Indian film industry right now. Just a few days ago, actress Taapsee Pannu announced her new production house named Outsiders Films. Now, action hero Vidyut Jammwal has joined the list.

The Thuppakki actor announced his new banner named Action Hero Films in April this year. Now, he announced his maiden production venture. Touted to be an espionage thriller, this movie is titled ‘IB 71’ and it will be helmed by Telugu director Sankalp Reddy of Ghazi fame.

Announcing the movie, Vidyut wrote, “I’m happy to announce my first feature titled ‘IB 71’ as Producer at Action Hero Films. Directed by Sankalp Reddy, the upcoming film is the banner’s first collaboration with the creative giant Reliance Entertainment. I write this with the utmost gratitude and sincerity to convey my love to you for your blessings and support.”

Reliance Entertainment will bankroll this project along with Vidyut. More details about it will be announced very soon.

After Ghazi, Sankalp made Anthariksham with Varun Tej and a segment in Netflix’s anthology series Pitta Kathalu. Both projects failed to impress the audience.
