It is now confirmed that Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan will be coming in two parts. Actors Trisha, Karthi along with AR Rahman, and others shared a poster of Ponniyin Selvan.
The poster has ‘PS-I Ponniyin Selvan Part: One’ written on it with a sword and a shield. The caption reads ‘The Golden Era Comes To Life’. Ponniyin Selvan is an epic fantasy drama coming in theaters next year.
The movie is based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s fiction novel ‘Ponniyin Selvan’. It is set up in a Chola Dynasty backdrop.
The movie has all big stars like Aishwarya Rai, Vikram, Trisha, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Lal, Sarath Kumar, Jayaram, Vikram Prabhu, Prabhu, Ashwin Kakumanu, Kishore, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and others. AR Rahman is composing the music. Touted to be a large scale visual wonder, the epic is bankrolled by Subaskaran under Lyca Productions.
