Deepika Padukone to team up with Superstar!

Superstar Rajinikanth has recently returned from the US and is currently focussing on the works of his upcoming release Annaatthe. Meanwhile, speculations already began about his next project.

According to the Kollywood sources, Rajini will team up with director Desingh Periyaswamy for a new film after the release of Annaatthe. Desingh shot to fame with his previous venture Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal (Kanulu Kanulanu Dochayante in Telugu), starring Dulquer Salmaan and Ritu Varma.

Apparently, Deepika Padukone is in talks to play the female lead of this film. Both Rajini and Deepika worked together for Kochadaiiyaan in the past. However, that is a motion capture-based film. If Deepika signs this new project, this will become her first regular film with Rajini.

An official announcement of this movie is expected to be made soon. The inclusion of Deepika may get confirmed once she signs the dotted lines.

Meanwhile, Rajini’s Annaatthe will hit the screens on November 4. Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Kushboo, and Meena are playing the other key roles in it.

On the flip side, Deepika is awaiting the release of ’83. She is also working on a few other projects which are in the shooting stages.
