‘Kiara Is Smart & Intelligent Like Nayanthara’

Tamil filmmaker Vishnuvardhan who made films such as Billa (Tamil), Pattiyal, Sarvam, Panja, is now making a Hindi debut with ‘Shershaah’ movie. The film stars Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani in the lead roles.

Coming from a background of directed Tamil and Telugu films, Vishnuvardhan spoke about his experience of working in Bollywood. He also spoke about Kiara Advani and compared her to Lady superstar Nayanthara.

“Fifty percent of your work is done when you get the right cast. The rest of the 50 percent is how they’re going to perform and Kiara is one of the smartest and most intelligent actors I have actually met, which is very good. The last I had met someone like that was Nayanthara,” he said.

Vishnuvardhan worked with Nayanathara for Billa and Arrambam. He called Nayanthara is a sharp and intelligent actress and he could feel a similar way when working with Kiara. “All you need to do is just give her a hint and tell them what it is and she catches it so fast,” Vishnuvardhan added.

Shershaah is all about the untold stories of the unsung heroes of the war. It is based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra, who died in the Kargil War and was honored with the Param Vir Chakra posthumously. The film will release on Prime Video on August 12.
