Talented actress Regina Cassandra is also one of the fitness freaks in the industry. The actress who never shies away from playing adventurous roles is all set to appear as a Trainee Cop in her next film.
Touted to be the remake of a Korean film ‘Midnight Runners’, Regina Cassandra and Nivetha Thomas are starring in an upcoming film ‘Shakini Dhakini’. Sudheer Varma is the film’s director.
Talking about the film, the actress said that she has performed few stunts in the flick.
“I had to train quite a bit for that. It gave me a unique experience,” said Regina who underwent jiu-jitsu training to prepare for her character in the film. She took training from specialists and she said that it felt amazing. “Though I suffered injuries regularly, it was fun and a was a whole new experience,” added Regina.
“We wanted to make the scenes look authentic, so the training was hard. I understand my body well and I did not stress myself beyond the point and my diet was also very light,” Regina further added about her preparation.
Sunitha Tati is producing the film under the Guru Films banner, in association with Suresh Productions.
