Nayan & Vignesh’s Film Bags International Award

Koozhangal (Pebbles), presented by Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan under the Rowdy Pictures banner has won big at International Film Festival Rotterdam. The couple celebrates the happy moment and Vignesh Shivan has shared a couple of photos of him with his ladylove Nayanthara on Instagram.

He wrote, “With our first international award our #firstfilm #Pebbles #Koozhangal got us home the prestigious #TigerAward @iffr all the way from Rotterdam to Chennai as we hold it close to our heart thankful to @psvinothraj and his fabulous team for making this gem 🙂 all the accolades and encouragement this film is garnering makes us sooo happy & proud ! Thankfully sharing this image with all of you …Meantime our director is in Romania collecting his next award.”

Presented by Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan’s Rowdy Pictures, Koozhangal is about the journey of an alcoholic father Ganapathy and his son Velu are on their way to bring back their wife-mother, who has left the home. Koozhangal is considered as one of the few Tamil films that have captured the vastness of rural life in a more austere, art-house fashion like never before. The film had its world première at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, and bagged has won the prestigious Tiger Award.
