Farhan Akhtar returns to direction after a decade!

Farhan Akhtar is returning to direction after a decade. His last film as a director is Don 2, which ended as a dud at the box office. This time, Farhan has come up with a road drama titled Jee Le Zaraa. Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif are on board to play the film’s leads.

Ever since Farhan Akhtar started promotions for his last film Toofan, there is a talk about his return to the direction. Farhan too told his fans that he will be coming up with an announcement soon. Finally, he kept his promise.

“In 2001, the boys went to Goa, In 2011, they went to Spain. About Time, The Girls took the car out,” read the announcement about the film.

The film is written by Zoya Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar, and Reema Kagti. Produced by Reema Kagti, Zoya Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani, and Farhan Akhtar, the film’s music is scored by When Chai Met Toast.

Farhan wrote, “Did someone say road trip? Thrilled to announce my next film as director and what better day than 20 years of Dil Chahta Hai to do it. #JeeLeZaraa with @priyankachopra #KatrinaKaif @aliaa08. will commence filming in 2022 and I cannot wait to get this show on the road. 😊❤️”
