Nayattu Remake: Solid names in consideration?

The trend of remaking successful Malayalam movies is picking up in the Telugu film industry right now. Geetha Arts also joined the bandwagon to remake the super hit Malayalam film Nayattu.

Starring Nimisha Sajan, Jojo George, and Kunchako Boban in the leads, the film was released in April this year and became a big hit. The pre-production work of the film is currently in progress.

As per the latest speculations in the Telugu media, Anjali is in consideration to play Nimisha’s character from the original. Either Sree Vishnu or Satyadev might come on board to play the character, originally played by Boban. For Jojo George’s role, the makers are planning to bring Rao Ramesh on board.

The film is getting remade in Tamil and Hindi languages as well. Gautham Vasudev Menon will helm the Tamil version of the movie. The director is also reportedly approached by Geetha Arts.

The official announcement along with the confirmation on the film’s lead cast is expected to be out soon!
