Viveka Murder: CBI Grills MP Avinash Reddy PAs, Sakshi Journo

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is thoroughly probing the mysterious death of YS Vivekananda Reddy. Last week the CBI arrested Sunil Kumar Yadav based on the statement by watchman Rangayya. Having produced Sunil before a court, he was sent into remand.

On Tuesday, CBI has questioned Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy’s personal assistants (PA) and Sakshi Journalist who reportedly stated that Viveka died of heart-stroke. Raghava Reddy and Ramana Reddy happen to be Avinash Reddy’s PA while Balakrishna Reddy was then Sakshi’s newspapers bureau incharge.

“On what basis the Sakshi TV aired that Viveka passed away of heart-stroke? Who informed you about this?” is what the CBI asked the journalist Balakrishan Reddy. The journalist replied that he works for the print media of Sakshi and has nothing to do with Sakshi TV and its telecast of Viveka’s death.

The CBI questioned Avinash Reddy PAs for four hours. “Who informed the local police about Viveka’s death?” is what the CBI asked Raghava Reddy. His reply is yet to be known to the media.

Apart from these three, the CBI also questioned Pulivendula town CI Shankarayya and Home Guard Naga Bhushanam Reddy. Apparently CI Shankarayya’s name was in the list of suspects that was submitted by Viveka’s daughter Sunitha to High Court. After YCP coming to power, Shankarayya was suspended from his services for allegedly trying to rub of the evidences at the murder spot.

Computer operator at Viveka’s office, Viveka’s PA Jagadeshwar Reddy’s brother Uma Shankar Reddy, YCP leaders of Chakrayapet mandal and Vempalli mandal was also quizzed by the CBI on Tuesday.
