National award winning actress Keerthy Suresh’s upcoming movie ‘Penguin’ is gearing up for OTT release. This is the first film of Keerthy to directly hit the digital space instead of the box office. ‘Penguin’ is said to be a crime thriller and the teaser of it is unveiled by Samantha.
Set on the backdrop of a isolated hill station, this is a tale of a mother whose child gets killed. The teaser shows, Keerthy and a few years old child walking in the thick greenery. A mysterious person is behind these killings and the killer appears with a Charlie Chapin mask which adds to the suspense.
Written and directed by Eashvar Karthic, the teaser has an outdated plot but the suspense elements can’t be rubbed off. The trailer will be released on June 11th.
Penguin will simultaneously release in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu languages on Amazon Prime on June 19th.
