Telangana Permits Film & TV Shooting

In a first of its kind decision in the country, the Telangana state has granted permission to Film & TV shooting. CM KCR signed the related file on Monday permitting the shootings. This is a huge sigh of relief to thousands of the cine and serial workers who were jobless for the last 76 days. However, the state government asked the Film & TV fraternities to strictly adhere to the guidelines and conduct shootings in a safe and conducive environment. It asked them to conduct shootings with limited cast and crew. The guidelines will be officially announced by the government.

The state has also given permission to conduct the post-production works unabatedly. Whereas, the state government has denied permission to the movie theatres. It cited that it is awaiting the Central government’s directions on this.

The efforts of Telugu film personalities like Chiranjeevi, Allu Aravind, Suresh Babu, Dil Raju, N Shankar, Nagarjuna, Rajamouli, Trivikram, Koratala Siva, C Kalyan and others have worked. It can be noted that the Tollywood personalities have met CM KCR along with Cinematography minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav.
