Mega and Nandamuri clash for Dussehra?

No thanks to the Covid-19 second wave, the big films of Tollywood are finding it extremely difficult to get a release date. With Pawan, Mahesh and Prabhas locking horns for 2022 Sankranthi, the makers of ‘Acharya’ ‘Akhanda’ and ‘RRR’ are completely confused.

‘RRR’ is undoubtedly the most anticipated film. Scheduled for release on October 13th, the team is sceptical of meeting the deadline. Accordingly the team of ‘RRR’ will be calling for a press meet later this month and announce a release date. Highly placed tinsel town sources say that Rajamouli wants to shift the release to Sankranthi 2022. But it would make things even more complicated.

Coming to Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Acharya’ and Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Akhanda,’ these films are in the last leg of shoot. If Rajamouli postpones ‘RRR’ release, then it will make a clear way for ‘Acharya’ and ‘Akhanda.’

The producers of Balakrishna’s film are looking at October 8th date while ‘Acharya’ might lock either October 12th or October 13th. NBK and Chiru last clashed at the box office for 2017 Sankranthi and both the films scored super hits.

So a Mega and Nandamuri clash for Dussehra is in the offing. Definitely would be a perfect festival blast at the ticket counter.
