I Oppose Permanent MAA Building: Bandla Ganesh

The Movie Artists Association (MAA) elections have heated up industry politics. But the prime agenda of MAA polls is revolving around a permanent building complex for the association. Hero Vishnu Manchu has expressed his interest to put his own money for the construction of MAA complex.

Not just Vishnu, everyone who is in the poll foray are also pledged for a permanent MAA building if voted as President. Actor cum producer Bandla Ganesh responded on MAA building and he made attention drawing comments.

Bandla was interviewed by a YouTube channel and in this he opined that there is no need for a permanent building to MAA. “I oppose this and for now MAA doesn’t need any permanent complex. But this is my opinion and it has nothing to do with the panel I’m contesting. Instead of spending Rs 20 crore on a permanent building, we can construct double bedrooms for poor artists and it would be a next level move,” said Bandla.

On behalf of actor Prakash Raj panel, Bandla is getting into MAA elections. “Prakash Raj has done a lot of service to the common man and I’m sure that he would do more for the industry people, if voted as MAA President,” added Bandla.

The decision to hold MAA elections is pending with Disciplinary Committee chairman UV Krishnam Raju. The Executive Committee meeting of MAA is scheduled this Sunday and also on August 29th. Probably after these meetings, clarity would arrive.

Bandla’s version on MAA building is partly good but how would Prakash Raj react to it?
