RRR’s Shoot To Be Fully Wrapped On September 20

The cast and crew of RRR landed in Hyderabad on Wednesday night after wrapping up a 2-week long shoot in Kyiv, Ukraine. A huge song, featuring NTR, Ram Charan, English actress Olivia Morris and others, was canned in the crucial schedule.

After taking a break for a few days, Team RRR will be commencing a minor patchwork for about a week in Hyderabad. The latest we hear is the the film’s entire shooting formalities will be wrapped up on September 20th, and the unit will bid goodbye to the sets with a formal pumpkin-breaking ceremony.

RRR was announced way back in early 2018. The shooting flagged off at Aluminium Factory in Hyderabad in a star-studded muhurtham ceremony attended by stars like Chiranjeevi, Prabhas, Rana, K Raghavendra Rao, Koratala Siva, VV Vinayak and others.

So, the curtains will come down after nearly 2 and a half years of shooting marathon that was occasionally delayed due to the lead heroes’ injuries and then the devastating pandemic. Soon after he concludes the shoot, Rajamouli will be busy with an extensive post-production schedule which may last until this year end.

This DVV Danayya production is expected to hit the silver screens in early 2022. The same is expected to be made official by the team in a press meet in Hyderabad after the shoot concludes.
