Megastar Chiranjeevi and Co met AP CM YS Jagan this afternoon. For about thirty minutes this meeting lasted and Chiru addressing the media after it said, CM Jagan has permitted for the shootings to take place in AP from July 15th.
Speaking, Chiru said, “The industry people have been waiting to meet CM Jagan since long time. Finally it happened today. In this meeting we brought the problems to the notice of CM Jagan. He did listen to all the things we have raised concerns on and responded in a positive manner. Immediately a G.O. was also issued regarding the shootings to commence from July 15th. On behalf of the entire industry we would like to thank CM Jagan on this occasion.”
Adding, Chiru stated due to lockdown, the theatres are completely shut and so we have requested CM to waive of the minimum power tariffs on theatres. Even for this CM reportedly said okay. Chiru and co also urged Jagan to allot 300 acres for film industry development in Vizag. This was a promise of late YSR and they requested Jagan to keep this word.
Lastly the team of TFI raked up the Nandi awards which have been pending since ages. “The recognition of government for artists and technicians is invaluable and so we have asked CM Jagan to revive this award ceremony,” said Chiru.
Nagarjuna, Dil Raju, Suresh Babu, Rajamouli, C Kalyan and minister Perni Nani were also present in the meeting.
