KGF 2 Pushes Salaar Out Of Summer Race?

The team of the keenly awaited pan-India action drama from Sandalwood ‘KGF Chapter 2’ pleasantly surprised fans this afternoon by announcing that the film will be hitting the silver screens worldwide on April 14, 2022. Given the humongous hype and anticipation surrounding the film, a summer release will surely bring in a lot of cheer to the fans and trade circles.

Incidentally, Prabhas’ on-going pan-India gangster drama ‘Salaar’ was already confirmed for an April 14th release next summer. This means that Salaar’s release will be postponed indefinitely, and the team will be making an official announcement in this regard at an appropriate time.

And in a chain reaction of sorts, even Prabhas’ Adipurush, which is originally scheduled for an August 11, 2022 release, could be postponed, and Salaar will most likely occupy Adipurush’s release date. Needless to say, all eyes will now be on the teams of Salaar and Adipurush regarding their release plans.

Both Salaar and Adipurush are being made on a massive scale, with over Rs 500 crores at stake. Several South and Bollywood filmmakers and trade circles will be reworking on their release plans based on the confirmation from Salaar and Adipurush teams.
