Jr. Bachchan In Talks For Another Tamil Remake In B-town

Of late, Bollywood is finding solace by entering into the den of South film remakes. The trend of South films getting remade in Bollywood has taken over in the film industry with swaggering skills. As we reported earlier, Abhishek Bachchan is currently in Chennai working on the Hindi remake of Tamil thriller Oththa Seruppu Size 7 with R. Parthiepan. The actor kept the project’s details under wraps until he met with an accident during the shoot and fractured his hand.

And now, looks like Jr.Bachchan is eyeing one more Hindi remake of a Tamil film. The latest reports suggest Abhishek Bachchan and Meezan, who was recently seen in Hungama 2, are likely to collaborate in a multi-starrer for the Hindi remake of the Tamil film ‘Oh My Kadavule’. The original’s director, Ashwath Marimuthu, is reportedly already on board and will direct the Hindi remake as well.

It is rumoured that this romantic fantasy film might also see Shalini Pandey starring as the female lead. The work is going at a fast pace and if everything falls into place, the film will go on floors by Sept end.

Currently, Abhishek, who met with an accident during the shoot, flew to Mumbai for treatment. He is now back in Chennai to resume the shoot. Directed by R. Parthiepan, the remake of Oththa Seruppu Size 7 has been modified to appeal to North viewers. Abhishek is headlining and also backing the film under his banner.
