Ramayana Songs Not Even Matching Adipurush!

Ramayana has created a lot of buzz and hype. With its stellar cast and lavish scale and grandeur, the film is one of the most and eagerly awaited films of the year. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi as Lord Rama and Sita and the devotional epic is being helmed by Nitesh Tiwari. As the film’s first part is all set to hit the screens this November 5, 2026, the devotional film’s music is in the spotlight.

It is noteworthy that iconic musicians Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman have worked for the film’s music.

Although the Ramayana songs released so far are decent, they have failed to create that divine vibe among audiences. Usually, for devotional mythological films like Ramayana, songs play a very crucial role in building hype and connecting with audiences.

Many fans are arguing that even though Adipurush turned out to be a big disaster, its album composed by Ajay Atul worked remarkably well. Be it the love songs or the elevation songs showcasing Lord Ram’s power, the music made a strong impact on listeners.

It is interesting to note that those songs are still trending, with many people using them during Hindu festivals. With Ramayana, expectations were even higher, and audiences hoped for something beyond Adipurush. However, the songs released so far have not come close to the impact of Adipurush’s album, which has become a worrying factor among fans.

As of now, Ramayana songs have received a decent response, but the divine magic is still missing. The upcoming songs need to deliver that extra magic and create a stronger impact among audiences.

It needs to be seen how the background score in the film would shape up as it’s very crucial for a devotional film. With Yash featuring as antagonist Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, the Ramayana Part-1 is creating a lot of buzz. Let’s wait and see what is in store for the film.
