Siddharth Malhotra’s war drama Shershaah has been getting a tremendous response all over since the day it premiered on Amazon Prime Video. With unanimous critical acclaim and humongous reception by the audience, it now became the #1 watched film on Amazon Prime Video India.
The film’s producer Karan Johar took on Twitter to share the news. He tweeted, “We are the #1 watched film on Amazon Prime Video! Grateful, overwhelmed & exhilarated by the LOVE & RESPECT that has poured in for #Shershaah. Been an honour to showcase a legacy that will go down in history, once again!”
According to the reports, Shershaah has been streamed in over 4100 cities and towns of India. It was watched in over 210 countries and territories across the world. It is the most popular Hindi film on IMDB with a rating of 8.9 based on 88000-plus user ratings.
Shershaah is the biographical drama of Kargil war hero Captain Vikram Batra. Directed by Vishnu Vardhan, this movie featured Kiara Advani as the female lead.
