In Discussion: Nagarjuna Ignores Samantha’s Birthday Wishes

‘Ye Maya Chesave’ couple Naga Chaitanya and Samantha need no introduction to movie lovers. The reel-life couple who turned real-life couple is reportedly parting ways. Although there is no official confirmation on the same, the speculations are doing rounds in the tinsel town. Now, Nagarjuna’s silence on birthday wishes from Samantha is adding more fuel to the gossips.

It all began with Samantha dropping ‘Akkineni’ from her display names on social media. Before marrying Naga Chaitanya, ‘Samantha Ruth Prabhu’ was the display name of the actress on social media. She changed it to ‘Samantha Akkineni’ after her marriage.

Right after the release of ‘The Family Man’ season 2, Samantha dropped ‘Akkineni’ and it resulted in many doubts about her relationship with Naga Chaitanya. Many ignored it assuming that it could be a publicity stunt or some sort of promotion.

However, the speculations did not end there. The recent media reports reveal that the couple has officially decided to part ways and the formalities are underway.

In a recent interview, Samantha chose to ignore the questions on the topic and indirectly hinted that she does not want to respond. Usually, Samantha would give clarity on any speculation but her lack of interest in discussing this topic is surprising to the fans and film industry people.

On the occasion of Nagarjuna’s 62nd birthday on Sunday, Samantha took to her Twitter profile and wrote, “No words can describe my respect for you. I wish you an abundance of health and happiness, today and always. Happy birthday to the man, the phenomena @iamnagarjuna mama.”

Nagarjuna did not respond to this tweet so far. Last year, Nagarjuna responded to Samantha’s wishes saying, “Thank you dear Sam!! Wishing you only happiness always Because you deserve every bit of it.. Love you Kodala.”

When compared to last year, Nagarjuna responded only to a few celebrities. The Manmadhudu actor replied to the wishes of Kajal Aggarwal. Ramya Krishnan, Allari Naresh, Ram Charan, Ravi Teja, Venkatesh, Chiranjeevi, and Mahesh Babu.

Within the family, Nagarjuna replied only to Naga Chaitanya’s wishes and remained silent to the wishes from Amala and Akhil.

Nagarjuna’s silence to Samantha’s tweet can be considered normal like how he did not reply to Akhil and Amala but at a time when there are speculations on the relationship of Samantha and Naga Chaitanya, the silence of Nagarjuna can result in a lot of doubts!

We have to see if someone from the Akkineni family or either of Samantha and Naga Chaitanya respond to these speculations and put an end to it for once and all!
