TRPs Out: Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu & Master Chef

Star hero Jr. NTR made a grand comeback into the television arena with Gemini TV’s brand new show Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu. Another star actor and NTR’s partner in RRR, Ram Charan attended as the special guest for the curtain-raiser episode of this program.

Ever since the episode was aired, everyone started speculating about the ratings of this launch episode. Finally, the ratings are out and EMK managed to get an 11.4 rating for its first episode. The weekly average rating is 5.6, stated the reports.

King Nagarjuna used to host another version of this show, titled Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu in the past. The inaugural episode of that show managed to get 9.7 TVR in 2014.

Comparatively, NTR’s version got better ratings than that of Nagarjuna’s version. We have to see if the show manages to maintain the momentum in the coming days.

On the other side, Tamannaah’s debut television show Master Chef Telugu got only a TRP of 4.1 for its inaugural episode. That is quite a disappointment for Gemini TV, which is airing this show as well.

Meanwhile, the rating of EMK is lower than the ratings of Bigg Boss Telugu’s various seasons’ launch episodes.

It has to be seen if the TRP ratings of upcoming Bigg Boss Telugu season 5’s inaugural episode will beat EMK’s numbers or not.

With Bigg Boss premiering this Sunday, EMK and Master Chef will have a tough competition to beat in terms of viewership.

The TRP war gets further intensified after the launch of Bigg Boss season 5.
