Natural Star Nani is the only big hero from the Telugu film industry who is having two back-to-back direct releases in the OTT arena. While his last film V had premiered on Amazon Prime Video in September 2020, his new film Tuck Jagadish is all set for its premiere on the same platform on September 10th this year.
The makers of Tuck Jagadish tried their best to have a theatrical release but due to external circumstances, they had to go for a digital release. Nani was recently threatened by the exhibitors who stated that they will ban him if Tuck Jagadish is not released in theatres.
However, they took back their words the very next day. Nani said that his ultimate priority is theatrical release and there is no doubt in it. The actor seems to be standing on his words as he said that he has no plans of acting in OTT films or series.
In a recent interview, Nani was asked if he sees himself acting in a web film or a series in the future. The Gang Leader actor said that he is a fan of the big screen and is not sure whether he can fit into a web film or web series.
He further said that he loves the theatrical format where films have a beginning, an interval, and a climax. Nani affirmed that his next film Shyam Singha Roy will have a theatrical release for sure.
Meanwhile, Nani is producing a film called Meet Cute which is being directed by his sister. This movie is aiming for an OTT release, says the sources.
