Bigg Boss 5 is here and a look at the contestants proves that a clear cut pairing strategy is followed, taking two or more people from the same background. One would wonder why the team has picked two people with the same background (other than actors) which never happened in the previous seasons.
To start with, we have Shanmukh Jaswanth, Siri Hanmanth and Sarayu coming from YouTube background, while both Natraj and Anne are choreographers who worked together as well. Surprisingly both Priya and Uma are character artists who are playing negative roles in serials, while Kajal, (RJ as well) is good at singing though Sriram Chandra is a pro.
Sunny, Lobo and Ravi are TV anchors (VJs), while the last one is the most popular of them all. Jesse is a model coach along with being a model, while Hamida is a Malayali model from Dubai popular in Hyd circuits. Rest we have Lahari, Swetha Varma, Priyanka Singh, Viswa and Manas, all are struggling actors trying to make it big in Tollywood.
With reports coming out that there will be fewer physical tasks and more intellectual and intelligence-related tasks this time, one wonders what are these pairs aimed at. If two people from the same background are together, surely with them being competitors, there will be differences of opinion and that might lead to fights. Is that what Bigg Boss looking for? Otherwise there is no chance that these pairs from the same type of work are likely to stay together and play the game together.
As Day 1 of the housemates is going to breakout on the screen by today night, let us see if the pairings as planned by Bigg Boss will stay together or find their own groups as per the wavelengths.
