‘Powerful’ is the word used by the Bollywood film critic Taran Adarsh when he wanted to use one word for Kangana Ranaut’s Thalaivii review. The famous critic gave away four stars to Thalaivii mentioning it as one of the most powerful biopics to release on Hindi screen.
Taran emphasized the impact by the loads of drama, strong emotions and bravura performances. According to Taran Adarsh, Kangana got the chance of portraying the most demanding role of her career in Thalaivii and it would be her career-best. The popular critic is so in awe with Kangana’s performance, he is sure she will win accolades and awards for Thalaivii.
Not just Kangana, the praises showed on Arvind Swami too. Taran is all praise form writers Vijayendra Prasad and Rajat Arora for captivating episodes of Jayalalithaa’s life and the sharp screenplay highlighting her struggles, obstacles, apprehensions and eventual triumph. Taran als heaped appreciation on director AL Vijay for his top notch direction, with which he seamlessly balanced the love story and dramatic moments in the second half.
Taran mentioned artistically that Thalaivii is the film that has soul, scale and style. His review sure lifts the film and the team on to cloud nine. While many film industry insiders had the chance of attending the special screening of Thalaivii today, the actual release is due on September 10.
