Megastar’s Unfulfilled Dream – Where Will It Take Charan?

At a time when many are wondering where is Ram Charan heading after the super success of Rangasthalam and the flop show of Vinaya Vidheya Rama, the mega hero stunned everyone with an announcement from SS Rajamouli himself. And that’s #RRR. And then, when everyone is thinking what will he do later, he picked up S Shankar’s movie. But there is a reason behind this.

While Charan picked films like Magadheera, Dhruva, Rangasthalam and Vinaya Vidheya all himself, and rejected movies with Maniratnam too, this time Megastar Chiranjeevi is said to have influenced his son big time to sign Shankar’s project. For a long time, Chiru wanted to work with Shankar and actually, he didn’t believe the Tamil filmmaker when he first narrated Gentleman story to him. Though Chiru did the Hindi version later which didn’t work, and then the hero never got dates to work with Shankar again.

Shankar himself revealed that he offered Sivaji film to Chiru but the megastar was thinking about political entry and all, and he didn’t pick that movie. And before that Oke Okkadu was also offered to Chiranjeevi, but it looks like Megastar never believed in that story. And now that Shankar wants to work with Chiru badly, he is said to have set that project for Ram Charan than him.

But then, Shankar’s film demands huge mental and physical contributions from the lead hero, and then they could either make or break at the office. So one wonders where will this unfulfilled dream of Chiranjeevi will take Charan.
