Sushant Singh Rajput Committed Suicide

In a shocking incident, popular Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide at his home in Mumbai. He was found hanging in his home at Bandra. The actor was 34. Sushant acted in films like MS Dhoni : The Untold Story.

The reason for Sushant taking such an extreme step is not known yet. Cops are probing the matter. Condolences have started pouring in from all corners. Bollywood is shocked to lose such a great talent at a very small age. 

On June 8th this month, Sushant Singh’s former manager Disha Sailan, 28, had committed suicide by jumping off from a building in Mumbai.

Sushant had made his debut in Bollywood with Kai Po Che! and was last seen in Chhichhore. Chhichhore, which also starred Shraddha Kapoor, Telugu actor Naveen Polishetty, did well at the Box Office.

Bollywood which recently lost talents such as Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor in April, the suicide of Sushant has come as a major shocker. A primiary police confirmation is awaited on Sushant’s suicide.

Sushant was rumoured to be dating Rhea Chakraborty. Though they have not confirmed their relationship, rumours had that the duo was seeing each other. The couple’s vacation pictures were the source of the rumours. However, in an interview to Times of India in April 2020, Rhea said they were good friends.

Rhea was quoted earlier as saying, “Neither Sushant Singh Rajput nor I have ever admitted that, so it’s not true. Sushant and I are really good friends. I’ve known him for eight years now. We were in YRF together and we had the same manager for a long period. Our friendship has evolved over the years.”
