Maestro: Like It, Dislike It But Can’t Ignore It!

Nithiin-starrer Maestro is yet another Tollywood biggie to have a direct release in the OTT arena. This dark comedy thriller is all set to premiere on Disney+Hotstar this Friday.

For the unversed, Maestro is an official remake of the 2018 Hindi film Andhadhun. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, Andhadhun featured Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte in the lead roles.

Ever since the Telugu remake was announced, people who have seen the original started speculating about how it is made here.

Speaking at the pre-release event, Maestro’s director Merlapaka Gandhi requested everyone to watch the film and said that he will not be affected by comparisons.

“Our movie is releasing this Friday (i.e September 17) on Hotstar. Please do watch it. Even if we ask you not to compare both the films, you will do it. It is okay if you appreciate or criticize us by comparing, but make sure to watch our film,” stated Gandhi.

Maestro features Nabha Natesh and Tamannaah in the other lead roles.
