Some of the celebrities from Tollywood are being called by the Enforcement Directorate with regards to a drugs case that started three years ago. After the initial investigation in 2017, the officials showed progress and reinitiated the investigation in Hyderabad. Multiple celebrities received notices for questioning.
Now, in the latest development, we came to know that Forensic Science Lab has given a clean chit to Puri Jagannath and Tarun. Both of them recently attended the questioning and cooperated with the officials. They have given satisfactory answers to the officials and submitted their financial transaction records.
The officials collected their nails, hair, and blood samples in 2017 to investigate if the celebrities consumed drugs. As per the reports from the Forensic lab, there are no traces of drug consumption in the samples collected from Puri Jagan and Tarun.
The Excise department has informed that the Forensic lab submitted the report on December 8th last year.
Charmme Kaur, Ravi Teja, Rakul Preet Singh, Nandu, Rana Daggubati, and others too received the notices.
