Regina Cassandra is one of the popular actresses in South India, who predominantly works in Tamil and Telugu cinema. She made her Bollywood debut with Sonam Kapoor’s Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga but it didn’t get her much fame.
Now, Regina bagged a big Bollywood project which has the potential to make her popular in North India. It is already known that Raj and DK of The Family Man fame are currently making a new web series with Shahid Kapoor.
Vijay Sethupathi and Raashi Khanna are playing the other lead roles in the series. Regina has become the latest addition to this stellar cast.
Apparently, the actress has already joined the sets and started shooting for this series.
According to Pink Villa’s report, a source stated, “Regina plays a very important role in the show, and is currently filming for it in Mumbai. The shooting is expected to go on for another month before the makers call it a wrap.”
This show marks Shahid’s debut in the digital arena. The series is being backed by Amazon Prime Video. It premieres in 2022.
On the other hand, Regina is the third heroine from the South to debut in Bollywood with a web series backed by Raj-DK. Regina already signed her debut web series in Telugu, titled Anya’s Tutorial for Aha.
