Meenakshi Dixit earned popularity with Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi. And the actress is now busy with her next flick in Telugu, Nagarjuna’s Bangarraju. The actress spoke about her role in the film saying that it has an intriguing storyline.
Meenakshi said that she is playing a pivotal role along with Nagarjuna and Ramya Krishna and she is confident that viewers will like her in the film. Calling it a never seen kind of a look, she further said that director Kalyan Krishna helped her inherit the grace and charm that the character needed.
The actress also lauded her experience of working with Nagarjuna. Meenakshi said she was amazed by his personality on the sets. “Working with Nagarjuna Sir was an unreal kind of experience. I actually feel enriched and thrilled. His aura & simplicity is truly captivating.”
She also added that she learnt the Telugu language with the help of the directors and co-stars. “As I am a North Indian, picking up Telugu language is tough for me. But my directors and co-stars have been really supportive and the credit also goes to Nagarjuna Sir, Mahesh babu Sir, and Kalyan Krishna Sir.”
Meenakshi was seen in Lifestyle, Dookudu, Bodyguard, Devaraya, Baadshah, Adavi Kachina Vennela, and Maharshi. She also appeared in one Malayalam film and a couple of Tamil movies. Her next film Bangarraju is a sequel to Soggade Chinni Nayana, and the film is expected to start with Nagarjuna returning from heaven with a reincarnation theme.
