Prakash Raj Wants EVMs But Vishnu Wants Ballot Papers

The prestigious Movie Artists Association (MAA) elections are all set to be held on October 10. All the necessary arrangements are being made for the smooth process of the polls.

Meanwhile, presidential candidate Manchu Vishnu requested the election officer not to use EVMs for the polling. It is reported that the actor wrote a letter requesting the election officer to use ballot papers instead of EVMs. He said that they are skeptical about the working of EVMs.

On the flip side, another presidential contestant Prakash Raj requested to use EVMs and not ballot papers.

Apparently, he stated that EVMs are being used in the last few elections of MAA and opined that they should be used this time as well.

Meanwhile, the ECIL company has put MAA on a black list for not paying bills of their EVMs that were used in the previous elections. It has to be seen if they lend EVMs to the association this time.

The election officer is yet to take a call on this EVM issue.
