Ajay Bhupathi’s Viral Tweet On #MAAElections

The Movie Artists Association (MAA) elections have turned into an ugly verbal war between Prakash Raj and Manchu Vishnu’s panels. Every day contestants from either of the panels are making controversial comments in the media and kind of defaming their own association.

And out of nowhere a young director’s tweet has gone viral and it also raked up a huge debate too. The director is Ajay Bhupathi of ‘RX100’ fame and he is arriving with ‘Maha Samudram’ next.

Taking to his Twitter, Ajay wrote, “I will pen characters to actors who support the panel which I like.” In brackets, Ajay claimed that these were the words a director told him off the record but who was the director who commented so is a big mystery. Or did director Ajay tweeted his own opinion and covering it up by throwing it at another director?

This tweet has become a talking point now in Tollywood circles. So far in the MAA elections, only artists have come forward and have been making a lot of noise. Technicians and other crew members are just silently watching the daily proceedings.

MAA elections will be held on October 10th and the same day the results will be out!
