Sorting out the release date tensions between Telugu biggies that are targeting Sankranthi season has finally become a headache to Megastar Chiranjeevi himself. Amidst the confirmation that Rajamouli’s #RRR will release on January 7th and Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak on January 12th, now Megastar is finding it tough to place his Acharya between these movies.
As the film got delayed for a long time, the producers of Acharya are said to be requesting Megastar to facilitate a better release date at the earliest. Also with Megastar super confident on the Koratala Siva directorial, he is also looking forward to a date. And now, he’s said to have found that December 17th is the ideal date for the release. But that date was booked by Allu Arjun’s Pushpa already as they have preponed their movie for a week earlier. So what would megastar do?
Rumours are engulfing in Film Nagar that “Acharya” makers are going to announce December 17th as their release date today in a special poster. One wonders if an agreement is made between the makers of Pushpa and Acharya to share the theatres, but then, such a mega clash is something we have not seen in recent times. On one side it is none other than Megastar’s movie and another side it is Bunny’s film, which means it will be a mega clash at the box office that could affect revenues badly.
But then, we have to wait for the official announcement of Acharya date anyway.
