Malayalam Director Sachy Passes Away

Popular Malayalam writer-director Sachy passed away in Thrissur today. The director suffered a cardiac arrest and was critical two days back. His recent film is Ayyappanum Koshiyum.

Sachy was admitted to Thrissur hospital after he suffered cardiac arrest and had been critical after the complications turned up post-surgery.

Sachy was one of the most valued screenwriters of today’s Malayalam commercial cinema. Sachy worked as sole writer for other super popular films like Driving License, Sherlock Toms, Ramaleela, Anarkali and Chettayees.

His next film as writer was planned with Prithviraj and director Jayan Nambiar, an untitled project that is set to release in 2021.
