Megastar Chiranjeevi made his public appearance on Sunday during a thank you meet with fans at Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust. What caught everyone’s attention is a band-aid to Chiranjeevi’s hand. The actor confirmed that he underwent surgery for his hand and is currently recovering from the same.
Chiranjeevi was suffering from Carpal tunnel syndrome. It is a common condition that causes pain, numbness and tingling in the hand and arm. The condition occurs when one of the major nerves to the hand — the median nerve — is squeezed or compressed as it travels through the wrist.
The doctors performed surgery on Chiru’s right hand. Because of the surgery, Chiru postponed the shoot of Godfather, in the direction of Mohan Raja.
The actor finished a key fight sequence and has taken a break from the shoot. The doctors advised him 15 days to rest and Chiranjeevi will resume the shoot from the 1st of November.
