We have seen many Bollywood movies that were scheduled for a theatrical release, going for a direct digital release due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The latest entrant to this list is Kartik Aaryan-starrer Dhamaka, which opted for a direct release on Netflix.
The trailer of this movie was unveiled just about a while ago. “Keep calm and put your Bharosa in Arjun Pathak. #Dhamaka is loading. Arriving on Netflix – 19th November,” tweeted Netflix India along with the trailer.
The trailer looks extremely intense and engaging. Dhamaka revolves around a television journalist who gets into trouble when a terrorist calls him with a bomb threat. How that call changes the protagonist’s life forms the main crux of this movie.
Dhamaka promises to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller with a lot of tense moments. Along with Kartik, Mrunal Thakur and Amruta Subhash are playing the other lead roles in this movie. It is being directed by Ram Madhvani of Neerja fame.
Dhamaka is an official adaptation of the 2013 South Korean film The Terror Live. This film will premiere on Netflix on November 19.
