I’m going to be careful with Tyson: Vijay Deverakonda

It has been a long time since we saw Vijay Deverakonda on the big screen. His last release was the 2020 romantic drama World Famous Lover. Currently, the Pelli Choopulu actor is busy with the shoot of his upcoming film Liger.

Bollywood actress Ananya Panday is playing the female lead in this movie and popular boxer Mike Tyson is playing a pivotal role in it. Vijay went all praises for both the actors.

Speaking in a recent interview with Bollywood media, Vijay said that Ananya has done a splendid job in the movie.

“Everyone’s doing their job and everyone’s working hard because they want their career to be successful, they want to do the best. The cinema industry is a very competitive industry where only success ensures survival – if you have to survive, you need to be able to deliver the performance, otherwise, nobody can help you after a point. So, we all have to work our ass off to be relevant in the industry and Ananya puts in a lot of effort and did her part very well in Liger. Ananya had done a splendid job in the film. Everyone’s going to love her when they watch what she’s done,” said Vijay.

Vijay also shared his excitement about working with Tyson in an earlier interview with the same website. “I just hope none of his punches connect, so I’m going to be very careful, but I love that man – like, recently, he’s changed as a person, like completely,” said Vijay.

Liger is being directed by Puri Jagannath. Charmme Kaur and Karan Johar are jointly bankrolling the project.
