AR Rahman’s music never fails to impress us. His dominance and career in the music and film industry have spanned over a period of 20 years for three generations and he’s still going strong. One of his latest creations for the film ‘Mimi’ is a super hit album this year in Bollywood.
Directed by Laxman Utekar, Mimi stars Kriti Sanon, Pankaj Tripathi, Sai Tamhankar, Manoj Pahwa, Supriya Pathak, Evelyn Edwards, Aidan Whytock and Jacob Smith. Not only did the film impress the audience but the song ‘Param Sudari’ from it is still trending to date.
And the music director of the film, ARR took to social media to share the good news that the track has now made it to the Grammys. ARR is the recipient of two Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards, a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe Award and several other Indian accolades.
Sharing this exciting news with all his fans and followers, AR Rahman tweeted, “I am so excited to share that my soundtrack for visual media “MIMI” been has submitted to the 64th GRAMMY®️ Awards, For Your Consideration. Here is a link. Thank You!!” As soon as he shared, Kriti Sanon took to her social media and replied to his tweet. Kriti said, ‘Wow!!! Congratulations sir!’ and added several clapping emojis and a red heart emoticon.
Later, several fans took to ARR’s comment section. “Congratulations from Hong Kong! We will all root for you. It certainly deserves to win,” “Oh my God! This is awesome, fabulous and absolutely deserving album. Eagerly waiting for your 3rd Grammy sir,” and “Congratulations sir.. best hindi music album of this year..Rihayi de is another gem” were some of the top comments
