Janhvi reveals why she hasn’t signed any South Indian film yet

Sridevi’s elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor is one of the most happening actresses in the B-Town. Just like her mother, Janhvi also wants to work in various film industries across the country. She was approached by many South Indian directors with lucrative offers in the past. But she hasn’t signed any South Indian film yet.

In a recent interview, Janhvi opened up on the reason behind not signing any South Indian film until now. In an interaction with the Film Companion, the Dhadak actress said that she has been speaking to a few makers down the South but she hasn’t felt like, “oh my god, I need to do this.”

However, the 24-year-old actress admits that she is a huge fan of Southern films. She stated that her Netflix watch history is filled with Malayalam movies these days.

Just like many other people in the country, Janhvi is also a huge fan of Fahadh Faasil. The actress said that she has recently seen Fahadh’s Trance and opined that he was superb in it. Janhvi confessed that she wants to explore the Malayalam film industry as well.

Fans who are eagerly looking forward to Janhvi’s debut in South Indian films may have to wait a bit longer.

On the Bollywood front, Janhvi is currently working on the films Dostana 2 and Good Luck Jerry.
