Pawan Kalyan’s BBS Is A Political Thriller

All eyes are on Pawan Kalyan’s second collaboration with director Harish Shankar. The actor-director duo is teaming up after delivering a huge blockbuster with Gabbar Singh that released in 2012. Their new film is titled Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh and it succeeded in taking the hype and excitement among fans to the next level.

Until now, going by the title, everyone thought Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh will be a social drama. But the latest we hear is that Harish Shankar has penned a high-voltage political thriller this time around for Pawan. With the film’s story set in New Delhi, fans can expect national politics playing a key role.

With Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh, Pawan Kalyan is returning to the political thriller genre after almost a decade. His first ever political drama, Puri Jagannadh’s Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu, released in 2012 and kicked off a major controversy during the separate Telangana movement. One has to wait until 2022 end to see the kind of fireworks Pawan and Harish will come up with.

Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh will surely reflect Pawan’s political ideology. And with the Janasena President taking the 2024 Andhra Pradesh general elections quite seriously, it remains to be seen if the film will manage to help his political fortunes to an extent. Mythri Movie Makers banner is bankrolling the project on a huge scale.
