Buzz: Indian 2 to delay Shankar-Charan’s film

Shankar and Kamal Haasan’s much-anticipated film Indian 2 has been facing a lot of hurdles since its announcement. The shoot has got delayed and halted several times in the past. The film remains halted for the last few months due to legal issues between Shankar and producer Subhaskaran of Lyca Productions.

As per the latest update, both Shankar and Lyca Productions have made a mutual agreement to resume the shoot of Indian 2 from this December. Apparently, it is aiming for a Diwali 2022 release as of now and there are 100 more shooting days left.

But already, Shankar started his new film’s shoot with Ram Charan last month. If Indian 2 hits back floors in December, then Charan’s film will be delayed for sure.

It is being reported that Charan’s film may have another schedule this year but the next few schedules may get delayed due to Indian 2’s shoot.

Thus, Shankar and Charan’s movie may mostly hit the screens in 2022.

Indian 2 is a sequel to the 1996 movie of the same name. Apart from Kamal Haasan, it features Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Kajal Aggarwal and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the other lead roles. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music of it.
