Ever since Samantha’s best friend and celebrity fashion designer Shilpa Reddy and her husband Preetham Reddy have tested positive for Covid-19, rumours were rife in Tollywood circles that Samantha and Naga Chaitanya were also tested positive. With such rumours fast spreading on Tollywood’s young couple, sources close to the stars have clarified that the couple is very much safe and healthy.
Sources in the know, on condition of anonymity, have confirmed that both Samanatha and Chay were not infected and the couple have become extra conscious ever since Sam’s best friend Shilpa Reddy has tested positive. The family has been in quarantine and is following Covid safety guidelines.
Akkineni family has become alert following Shilpa and Preetham’s test results. The family is taking strict measures at home and avoiding meeting people in their social circle. This news of the young couple being safe is a huge sigh of relief to Akkineni fans who were worried for the past couple of days and keeping their fingers crossed over the rumours.
