Tamil hero Vishal who vowed to take up the responsibility of 1800 students who were initially supported by Kannada Powerstar Puneeth Rajkumar, made interesting comments. The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce hosted a prayer meeting and celebrities from all the south film industries graced the occasion.
Speaking Vishal said, “Despite being an actor for 16 years now, I do not own a house in Chennai and I live with my parents. But I have been saving money for a home for myself and I will spend these savings on the children who were supported by Puneeth.”
Vishal also stated he doesn’t have that bond with Puneeth yet he is a huge fan of the Kannada actor. “Nobody has any clue that Puneeth was doing a lot of social/good work until his death. I was touched by his good deeds and so I voluntarily came forward to carry on Puneeth’s work. I whole-heartedly pray for his soul to rest in peace,” added Vishal.
This prayer meeting of Puneeth was also attended by Telugu hero Manchu Manoj. He added that he was shattered about hearing the passing away of Puneeth and would also be supportive of Rajkumar’s family.
