Khaidi Sequel: Only 30 Days To Complete The Shoot

Karthi’s Kaithi is one of the super hit films in Tamil. The film’s success has put director Lokesh Kanagaraj on the demand. It is the success of Kaithi that bought him a chance to direct Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan. The fans are waiting for the sequel of Kaithi and Lokesh has dropped a surprise update to all those waiting for the film.

Lokesh and Karthi were supposed to do the sequel of Kaithi 2 by now but due to the prior commitments of the duo, the project was delayed. However, in 30 days, Lokesh is expected to finish the sequel.

“Just 30 days is enough to complete Kaithi 2 and we have already filmed most of the scenes for Kaithi 2 during the shoot of Kaithi,” revealed Lokesh recently.

The reports say that Kaithi 2 will revolve around Karthi’s character, his flashback, and why he went to jail. Not much has been revealed about Karthi’s character in Kaithi but the second part is expected to throw more light on the same.

Lokesh Kanagaraj is currently working on Vikram, starring Kamal Haasan. Most likely, both Karthi and Lokesh might take some time out to bring this film to the fans.

‘Kaithi’ was released in Telugu with the title Khaidi.
