Bob Biswas Trailer: Abhishek Bachchan Nails It!

Of late, Abhishek Bachchan has been choosing challenging roles and came up with acclaimed performances in projects like Ludo and Breathe: Into The Shadows. Now, he is coming up with yet another interesting project titled Bob Biswas.

For those who are unaware, Bob Biswas is a popular character from the 2012 film Kahaani. The role was originally played by Saswata Chatterjee in Kahaani. Director Sujoy Ghosh planned to make a spinoff film on his character for a long time.

Finally, his daughter Diya Annapurna Ghosh made the film while Sujoy penned the story of it. Bob Biswas has opted for a direct digital release on Zee5. The makers have now unveiled the trailer of this movie.

We see the backstory of Bob and how he became the contract-killer, in this movie. Abhishek looks stunning in his makeover and his dialogue delivery is outstanding. The trailer suggests that Bob is being told that he lost his memory of being a hired killer. He gets asked to kill people once again, but this time, he is reluctant in doing so.

There is a dark flavour in the film and it intrigues the viewers right away. Gairik Sarkar’s camera work is outstanding. Towards the end, we get Abhishek uttering Bob’s iconic dialogue from Kahaani, ‘Namoshkar…Bob Biswas…”

Bob Biswas will premiere on December 3.
