Actress Rakul Preet Singh announced her relationship with actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani last month. Rakul made the announcement on her birthday and surprised everyone all of a sudden. Until she made it official, no one really knew that she is dating Jackky.
Rakul stated that she announced her relationship because she had to. “I choose to listen to things that I want to listen to. I choose to not get affected by things. I spoke about my personal life because I thought it was beautiful and I wanted to share it,” said Rakul in her recent interview with the Hindustan Times.
The Dhruva actress opined that a celebrity’s life is always under scrutiny and dealing with it is part and parcel of their job. “A celeb’s life is always under scrutiny and that’s the flip side of being a public figure. I really don’t let the noise around me bother me. I do my job in front of the camera and I’ve my personal space off the camera,” said Rakul.
When asked about her marriage plans, the 31-year-old actress said, “Whenever that happens, I will share it like any other thing.”
“Right now, I’m focusing on my career because that’s exactly what I am here for,” she further added.
On the film front, Rakul is currently busy with multiple projects like Attack, May Day, Thank God, Doctor G, Mission Cinderella, and Chhatriwali.
