RRR Premieres; Rajamouli Responds

RRR’s mania has begun all over the country with the release of the theatrical trailer. Even the makers have caught nationwide attention by attending quick-fire press meets across various cities in the last two days. Now, the hype will only increase with each passing day.

Meanwhile, there are wide speculations about the film having paid premiere shows on the eve of the release. Earlier, Baahubali 2 had paid premieres and the response was amazing. So, it is being assumed that the same formula will be implemented for RRR as well.

In the press meet held in Hyderabad the other day, director SS Rajamouli was asked the same question. He said that there are no plans for paid premieres at this stage but a decision will be taken after holding discussions with the distributors.

“If distributors and our producer are okay, we will definitely try to have paid premieres,” said Rajamouli. We may get clarity about it a few days ahead of the release.

RRR features Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles. Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, and Shriya Saran have played other key roles in it.

This epic action drama is slated for worldwide release on January 7, 2022.
