Pushpa Appeals To Tamil Audiences Too: Allu Arjun In Chennai

Allu Arjun is actively promoting his upcoming theatrical release, Pushpa: The Rise. He interacted with Tamil media today and said he was born in Chennai and Tamil Nadu is like his home.

“I always wanted to do a Tamil film and was waiting for the right opportunity. Pushpa happened at the right time,” Allu Arjun stated.

Allu Arjun said music composer Devi Sri Prasad told him after watching Pushpa that it was like a proper Tamil film and Allu Arjun looked exactly like a Tamil. “I told him “I am a Tamil”. Because, I spent my first 20 years here”.

“Because, no matter where we go,we should taste success in hour hometown and there lies the real happiness. So we made this film in Tamil with so much passion. This movie will sure appeal to the Tamil audience.”

Allu Arjun said the Tamil version of Pushpa would sound as authentic or even better than Telugu and hailed lyricist-dialogue writer Madhan Karky for this.

Pushpa: The Rise arrives in theatres on the 17th of December. The forest based actioner is directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
