A Nani’s movie is coming to theaters after two years and the natural star seems to be very excited about it. During the last night’s pre release event of Shyam Singha Roy, Nani appeared to be super confident as he said he is not scared of biggies coming out before and after his outing.
There are good reasons for him to be that confident, apart from that he has a solid subject and execution he believed in. While one of them is said to be the rumor about the huge satellite rights price of 10 cr paid by a top television house, the other one is the theatrical business which is expected to be more than 30 cr.
Well there are things that Shyam Singha Roy needs to worry a bit. The two biggies that are sandwiching, Pushpa and RRR are all over the media with big scale promotions. If Pushpa turns out as a big blockbuster, Shyam Singha Roy might have to face that heat. Also there is 83 releasing on the same day as Shyam Singha Roy, it might too give a tough fight in Bollywood.
Having said that Nani has to promote his film big to baracade and hit back at the competitors. After seeing Akhanda’s big success, it is evident that mass elements are very crucial for the movies to attract big footfall. Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy looks like a movie with different concept, but also filled with interesting commercial elements.
Considering all these factors, Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy seems to be safe already with respect to monies, but if it clicks, Nani will enjoy a huge theatrical blockbuster he had been waiting for.
